According to State Farm Insurance, Pennsylvania comes in first as the state that has the most automobile and dear crashes. A survey done by the insurance company showed that 1.5 million automobiles are involved in collisions with deer each year and have caused 150 deaths and $1.1 billion in damages. Deer migrate and mate between October and December and that is when most accidents occur. The time that they most often happen seems to be first thing in the morning and dusk. Since a deer can weight over 200 pounds, a run in with one can cause death to a driver, passengers, the deer and thousands of dollars in damage to your car.

Without browning – Quickly saute in olive oil the place in the liquid and cook. The juice and aromas mix with the stock, which becomes richer and makes a tender and juicy final dish. Food plots are used extensively by deer management groups as well as hunters. There are two types of food plots, the forage plot and the hunting plot.

Good deer managers use brassica’s in their food plots because they realize the value of the brassica group. The specific varieties that deer management specialists commonly use are kale, rape, and turnips. Brassica’s are a good choice for fall and winter hunting deer food plots. They produce large amounts of quality deer food during the time of year when perennial forages and native plants are limited in both production and quality. Seeding your brassica crops in the summer can attract deer late into the fall and early winter.

Studies show pet owners are more at risk for tick bites and contracting infectious tick borne diseases. As soon as my cat comes back with his first tick of the spring, I move him outdoors, since he is extremely unhappy being locked indoors all summer. I know it sounds a bit harsh, but I can’t risk my family’s health for my cat’s comfort.

I have a vestibule where he can come in for shelter from the wind and rain, and I put food and water out and a bed. I have not found any full-proof way of keeping ticks off of him. Even the harsh chemicals that keep ticks from actually biting him, don’t stop him from carrying a tick on the end of his hair and dropping it in the house.

I. Various types of crows

The crows are large birds of passerina which comprise the Corvus kind in Corvidae of family. Here more common crows found in North America.

* The American crow (brachyrhynchos of Corvus) is great species of a bird of passerina of Corvidae of family. It is a common bird found in all much of North America. Inside the south continents of the Arctic, it is simply called a crow, because other such bird does not live there on any regular basis.

* The fish crow (ossifragus of Corvus) is a typical crow in the aspect which is associated with the habitats of marsh. The species of this bird is superficially similar to the American crow, but is smaller (36-41 cm length) and has a plumage smoothes silkier by comparison.

The differences are often only really obvious between the two species when they ‘about side by side or by their calls. The invoice is usually slightly thinner than the American crow, but still, this can not help much when there is no other bird for the comparison.

* Common Raven (corax of Corvus), also known under the name of Scandinavian Raven, is large, all-black bird of passerina in the family of crow.

II. Crows like parasites

Not only the crows feed on seed recently moulded in rural sectors, but they also collect night, starting with the groups of a half-dozen, which link then to form a group of twenty to thirty and so on until the band is completely large and noisy. It is their practice to turn over to the same place each night.

Machines of various kinds, such as the miniature windmills or the rattles of horse which are put moving by the wind are often used to frighten crows; however, all these devices become soon well-known with the birds, thus they quickly cease being useful any no matter what.

Pigeons can cause some trouble when landing on buildings in big cities. Their droppings can harm the visual aspect of a house. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to use the expensive services of a pigeon control company. You can also avoid using a pigeon repellent. One of the best ways to get rid of pigeons is figuring out how to install spikes. It is a humane method that will bring more results then any other.
